The moment our 7-year-old son saw the J.CO Donuts & Coffee store at Glorietta 2, he immediately knew what he wanted for desserts, and he never stopped reminding us about it until he got what he wanted. While father and son were busy choosing what variants to buy, I patiently waited at the al fresco dining spot outside the store. They bought half a dozen J.CO donuts for Php230.00. The flavors they chose were Why Nut, Heaven Berry, Copa Banana and Green Tease.
J.Co Donuts are known for their glazy appearance (shiny coatings) and unique names. They’re also very soft and less sweet compared to other donut brands in the market.
Why Nut is a glazed donut with peanut butter and white chocolate, while Heaven Berry is a strawberry cream donut. Copa Banana has dark chocolate with banana cream at the center, while Green Tease has a rich matcha (green tea) flavor.
